Raise Right is a gift‑card and online shopping “scrip” fundraising program that makes it easy for families to support school groups, including the San Luis Obispo High School (SLOHS) & Laguna Middle School Bands, simply by shopping as they normally would 

🎵 How RaiseRight Works

• Buy gift cards — Both physical and digital cards are available from hundreds of well-known retailers (e.g., Target, grocery stores, gas stations, local shops). You can reload cards or purchase e‑gifts instantly via the app. 

• Shop with them — Use these cards just like cash when shopping, dining out, traveling, or even buying concert tickets.

• Earn rebates — Retailers give back a percentage of each purchase (typically 4–6%, but sometimes up to 20%), and those rebates go directly to the band’s fundraising account 

• Repeat year‑round — Since families shop often, what feels like routine spending can generate hundreds—or even thousands—of dollars in support annually

How SLOHS Families Can Get Started

The SLOHS & LAMS Bands are supported by SLOIMBA (San Luis Obispo Instrumental Music Boosters), a 501(c)(3) that runs band fundraisers: 

• Reach out to vpfundraising@slotigerband.org to get your unique enrollment code

  • Set up your RaiseRight account

  • Enter the enrollment code and link family members

  • Shop & earn all year

  • Load gift cards before your regular purchases—groceries, gas, Starbucks, local eateries, etc.—and watch rebates accumulate

• Track your earnings

  • The app and RaiseRight dashboard show real-time earnings. Families and the Booster group can easily see totals
